DB vs JJK baseball scrimmage

I wasnt even aware this game was going to happen, however word from DB sources said it was a slaughter. I believe the final was 17-3 with DB winning

Throw in that month head start TN gets, because of VA's retarded limit on games, and they are in season form while we are in practice mode. I still applaud Wyrick for the scheduling.

DB is going to do that to folks in TN who have had the same start as them.

Just heard that it was an informal practice, no score kept, no umps, catchers called balls strikes, and that DB did indeed score more runs than us, but not 17-3. Would the folks from DB be giving a shady account? Surely not-especially since a 17-3 "beating" of a program like ours would make them look more impressive [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beer1.gif[/img]

My info. says it was 6-3 after 7 innings. More runs scored later when younger pitchers threw. Indian Dad is right, DB is pre-season top 10 by Collegiate Baseball newspaper. Anyway, I was told that it was a practice with Kelly working on double plays, groundballs, flyballs, catchers throwing etc. Take it for what it's worth

DB is overrated too. Like they are every year in football and baseball. Once again, Farragut will thump their taters like they do every year come playoff time.

Yep, and every year DB gets hyped way high and they fall real hard. Just like that #1 5A team in the state in football that bowed out in the first round.
